This curriculum is survivor informed, meaning it has been reviewed extensively by survivors of human trafficking to provide the most accurate and helpful information. Through this curriculum curated specifically for teens, students will be educated on the prevention of human trafficking by fostering awareness, empathy, and empowerment. Students will learn about the definition, statistics, signs, and ways to combat human trafficking so they can identify, prevent, and confront it.
The key to this presentation is to keep students engaged, so the lesson has been designed to be as interactive as possible. These activities are an important part of the lesson.
