School-Based Aid

Not all schools cover demonstrated financial need.

Every college will post financial aid information on their website. Make sure to check and contact the financial aid office of schools you are looking at to determine if they meet demonstrated financial need.

Some schools offer to cover all demonstrated financial need once accepted, and some go further to guarantee no student loans.

100% Meet Need Schools

After filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or the CSS Profile (College Scholarship Service Profile), many schools will determine how much is reasonable for the student and their family to pay. Some colleges—100% meet need schools—will then commit to covering 100% of demonstrated financial need for all students through scholarships, grants, work-study programs and sometimes loans.

No-loan schools

Some schools will cover 100% of demonstrated need without huge student loans. You can find more information on no-loan schools here and find a list of them below.
