Guidelines for HCC Scholarly Activity:

  • Faculty sponsor at institution must be involved
  • Must be approved by HCC leadership
  • Poster presentations and publications must include HCC leadership as author
  • HCC logo should be utilized in poster publications
  • If research is original, need IRB approval from your institution
  • If using data from HCC national surveys, no IRB approval needed
  • Please be thoughtful about how you describe people and communities who are medically underserved. The CDC has a list of Preferred Terms that is a helpful reference guide.
