HCC San Bernardino was initiated in 2021 as a partnership between the California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM) and local high schools, Colton High School and San Bernardino High School.
The faculty sponsor of the program at CUSM is Dr. Sunny Nakae, Associate Professor of Medical Education and Senior Associate Dean-Equity, Inclusion, Diversity and Community Partnerships; and the program manager is Ms. Nastassia Valenzuela, Director of Partnership Engagement Programs.
