Cleveland Ecosystem for Health Career Exploration
Health care institutions, hospitals, non-profits, and high schools collaborating to facilitate healthcare exploration for Cleveland youth.
The Cleveland Ecosystem for Health Career Exploration is a partnership between the Health Career Collaborative (HCC), The Greater Cleveland Career Consortium, and Greater Cleveland Works. The partnership models how collaboration between K -12 schools, colleges & universities, healthcare employers, and community training organizations can work to create a sustainable, flexible framework for early exposure to careers in healthcare.
The faculty sponsors for the HCC program are Dr. Kevin El-Hayak, Associate Professor of Surgery, Case Western Reserve Medical School, Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), and The MetroHealth System; and Mr. Phillip Rowland-Seymour, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Medical Education, School of Medicine. The program director is Ms. Crystal Reed, Director, Youth Mental & Behavioral Health, Workforce Coalition at Greater Cleveland Works.
