HCC Jackson, MS was initiated in 2024 as a partnership between
University of Mississippi School of Medicine and Murrah High School.
The faculty sponsors for the HCC program are Dr. Praise Matemavi, Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and Dr. Dan Coleman, Director of Outreach for the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

The High School Program Leader at Murrah High School is Mr. Jonathan Randolph under the leadership of Principal Dr. Alonda M. Nicholson.
