HCC St. Wichita was initiated in 2021 as a partnership between the University of Kansas School of Medicine- Wichita and Wichita North High School.

The faculty sponsor of the program at the medical school is Dr. Colleen Loo-Gross, Assistant Professor, University of Kansas School of Medicine, Wichita, KS, Wichita – Family & Community Medicine

The medical student leaders of the program are Kennedy Poro and Nikhita Ravikanti. Additional medical student program volunteers are Clinton Nkeng, Zane Littell, Hitesh Rathod, Bliss Baird, and Sarah Veesart. 

The High School Program Leader at Wichita North High School is Brittni Mayagoitia under the leadership of principal Stephanie Wasko.
