HCC Ghana

HCC Ghana represents HCC’s first international work and stems from the educational outreach first spearheaded by Dr. Barry Mann (HCC founder and board president) in 2025. This work came as part of a larger surgical mission trip. The outreach was envisioned, developed, and implemented with the leadership of Dr. Obed Agyei, senior fellow in oncology at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, and Dr. Larry Livornese, Chief of Internal Medicine at Main Line Health in Philadelphia.

The outreach brings together Health Career Collaborative, Main Line Health, The Church of Pentecost Youth Ministry, IMAGHE World, PENTSOS, PENSA International and Pentecost University in a collaborative effort to provide quality health education to high school students in Ghana.

October, 2026 – Second HCC Ghana Outreach

At the ongoing “Healing Bodies, Saving Souls” Medical Outreach in Abesewa, students of Pentecost University’s Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences continue to gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the health and wellbeing of the community. The outreach reflects Pentecost University’s commitment to developing healthcare professionals who are not only skilled, but also compassionate and service-driven.
